Okay, I liked the newer strips (Iâd never seen these older ones) but now I see why it was SO well recieved right from the get go. These are much better even if the art is messier.
And I have to say, I applaud Mr. Thompson for stopping the strip even if it was âgood enoughâ if part of the deteroation in the humor was due to his health issues preventing him from being as engaged.

Aliceâs mom must have read her âThe Road to Ozâ. In that book, the âScoodlersâ threw their heads when the were mad at someone. It was terrifying to me when I read it as a small child.

Their immediate grasp of the potential consequences of Aliceâs wish provides insight into the often underestimated intelligence and insight of kindergartners. Also let me say I found this immensely hilarious. The buzz from this should last all day.
