It’s the world famous Brevity dog!

Hope they find him… Brevity wouldn’t be the same without him.

(Though I always thought he belonged to rOdd, not to Henry Krinkle.)

Did Dan learn to draw him, or did rOdd come back to do it?

But if a dog is friendly firstHe’s friendly last, e’en at your worstIf you are late with bits and kibblesHe’ll eat the neighbor’s cats (or tribbles!)And then off to his well-earned restPeople with dogs are truly blessed

Glad to see some “Brevity Style” is being preserved, though of course you add your own touch.I’ve loved this comic for a loooong time.I don’t begrudge rOdd a few pina coladas…I’m sure he wishes he were off someplace drinking them.

Is Bonkers related to the dog of Bliss comics. They resemble each other and drive cars.

Possibly a little Thurber influence for the dog?
