Here’s a 2-part apology:

1. I lost track of what day was what because of the mid-week holiday and I just woke up out of a sound sleep, suddenly realizing that I hadn’t posted anything for today, which is (I now realize) a Thursday poster day. I am so sorry, everyone.

2. Now, as luck would have it, I’m having trouble accessing the Sherpa page for Cleo & Co. I don’t know why. but I’ve tried everything I can think of to get in, with no luck. I’ll keep trying, and also will try to contact Nighthawks as soon as it’s a more decent hour in the eastern time zone (probably another 2 hours). Hopefully, we can figure out what’s going on, so we’ll keep you posted.

Again, sorry about this. It’s a heck of a way to start the new year!!

Maybe a Portly Person is fixing Sherpa, or probably not, since they said they would for the past few years. I guess that 5 year old child wants 2 lollipops a year for a paycheck and they only want to pay 1 every ten years.

I represent the USA*. My clients were just wondering, since this is a Q&A and all, when will Sherpa be “fixed?” They thank you very kindly for the recent letter promising the long awaited rollout of the new Sherpa site. Unfortunately the letter gave no date for the rollout, and, as the mysterious @katina.cooper has noted on many previous occasions (I’m paraphrasing), 2020 is not 2019.

Mr. PSP, my clients are proud people. They are tired of freeloading. They would very much like to start paying GoComics again for the privilege of posting their art on its site.

Their question is when, for the love of Garfield, will that occur?

I just checked. CLEO AND COMPANY has been deleted from the sherpa lineup by Gocomics…..

I guess my criticism reached some un-deaf ears…….

Sherpa strips are still there but on the alphabetical list of sherpa strips , Cleo and Company is conspicuously absent.

This isn’t saying it’s not there, but that the permissions for access are blocked/changed from yesterday.

NO, NO, NO! my day is ruined. Hoping they are moving Cleo to the main page…..maybe it just takes a little time. Keeping fingers crossed that nothing bad is happening.

Seriously bummed out over here. Have the GC masters no class whatsoever? Just delete a Sherpa strip without even informing the creator? That’s low.

I am still hoping that there is some sort of reasonable explanation and that everything will return back to normal. Until there’s news to the contrary, I prefer to be optimistic. We just have to wait and see. We’re currently awaiting a response from the “powers that be”.Fingers crossed.

Let’s not all jump to conclusions.

And please don’t abandon this forum …

at least till we know for sure what’s happening.

After today, I’ll be back on tomorrow’s 2010 Ballard Street, hoping this is a glitch or a threat, and Cleo is back…

But even if not…. I’ll still be coming back…. holding out hope that it’s temporary.

I’ll add my voice to those wondering what happened to Cleo. Heading over to the PSP to ask what’s cooking (not looking to get an answer, but want to add my 2 cents worth).

there is absolutely no truth in the suspicion that I am merely padding the comments list so we can get into triple figures.

I don’t think that ever happened , even on some of those birthdays
