Just another typical day full of deception in the Romney campaign. Obviously, they would prefer an interview with someone from Faux News than a legitimate journalist, even if he is reduced to unpaid blogging.

Rick has his story now â a tale of deception, lies and calumny (on Rolandâs part) in the belly of the beastly Romney campaign â thatâs sure to find publication on HuffPo. And maybe even a chance of going viral.ÏLike the frog whoâs keeping a choke hold on the neck of the pelican whoâs trying to swallow him: NEVER GIVE UP.

Matt Rhoades = Mittâs campaign managerJim Messina = Obamaâs campaign managerAnd no, heâs not the same Jim Messina who played with Kenny Loggins back in the Stoned Age.

Who is Matt Rhoades?ÏMatthew âMattâ Rhoades (born February 3, 1975) is an American political consultant and strategist for the Republican National Committee. In the 2000 presidential election, he worked as a research analyst for the Republican National Committee assisting in the Florida recount.1 In the 2004 presidential election, Rhoades was director of opposition research for the campaign to re-elect President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney. In the 2008 presidential bid of Mitt Romney, Rhoades was director of communications. Rhoades is cited as a pioneer in using less conventional outlets, such as the Drudge Report, to influence the public image about candidates who oppose his clients. 2 He is the manager of Mitt Romneyâs 2012 campaign for the presidency. 3 Rhoades received his B.A. at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in 1997 and his M.A. from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University in 1999.ÏâLOOK IT UPâ REFERENCES FROM WIKIPEDIAÏ[1, 2] âMatt Rhoades: Executive Director at Free & Strong America PACâ. I keep getting an e-mail that says Obama has been ruling by Executive orders. I googled several and found thet none that I checked were from Obama. When I added Obamaâs name to executive order, several did come up and none had the intent of making him a dictator as suggested. Do your own research!

Just curious, do I qualify as a troll? Iâve been called a wingnut, freak of nature (my sister), twerp, annoying happy person, nerd, dork so on and so forth. So I was wondering what one must do to qualify as a troll. Incidentally, I think Ron Paul and Santorum combined would make a pretty good president. Iâm no longer disappointed by being under voting age.

John Fugelsang, commented this morning on The Bill Press Show, seen daily on Current TV, said something like, âMain Stream Media, is driven by ratingsâ. Which means Faux News represents the feelings and attitude of its viewer. This scares me that real people out there believe the propaganda they spreadâŠ

Rickapolis over 12 years ago
By the way, Iâm not sure if I heard this correctly, but it seems that the conservative controlled media is deliberately skewing poll data to make the presidential race seem closer than it is so republicans wonât be too discouraged to go out and vote on election day. The real numbers show Obama up eight to ten points and they say itâs only four. Would they really do something like that?
montessoriteacher over 12 years ago
I donât really know how well Obama is going to do. I live in Kansas. It would be nice if the GOP would lose big. There are a lot of folks out here who are really only worried about taxes and not much else. Then there are the folks who have right wing ideas about social issues but are not among those who are wealthy enough to worry about taxes being raised. The whole tax issue is such a faux issue anyway. There is such a small number of folks who need to be worried about it at all, and those who do donât have to worry about their taxes going up all that much. But yeah, the GOP has gotten far too right wing, they need to have a come to Jesus moment and get back a little to the middle. As it is, they are going to lose big soon because of the demographics situation in the US. Fewer rich white folks are going to be around.

To all:I apologise for rambling sometimes. I guess I try to put to many issues in one post. Also, I didnât mention my reservations on Romney.I am the same religion as Gov. Romney, also Sen, Harry Reid. I listen to BYU radio on XM. They have a program where successful entrepeneurs give seminars to students from BYU. Most of them who are in manufactoring are proponents of sending their products to China for manufacture. Their reasons are, honestly, greed. More profits, not just profits. They all know that they can make a profit here in th USA but go there for MORE profits. This is the same reasoning used by many furniture companies here in the âoldâ home of furniture building. At Hooker furniture, right before the plant closed, we sampled a new chest of drawers. Ours would have made about a 25% profit. The one from China that looked the same, from across the room, gave more than 50% profit. Soon after they closed our plant and put around four hundred people out of work. Most of these furniture plant management teams are solidly republican. These are the very reasons that I am a confused voter. That is what Iâve written here and my previous post today. I for one am truly tired of the divisiveness surrounding our people. Please, letâs get together in respect for one another and vote for a truly UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

LEGEND OF THE TURTLE AND THE SCORPION
A turtle was happily swimming along a river when a scorpion hailed it from the shore. A scorpion, being a very poor swimmer, asked a turtle to carry him on his back across a river. âAre you mad?â exclaimed the turtle. âYouâll sting me while Iâm swimming and Iâll drown.â âMy dear turtle,â laughed the scorpion, âif I were to sting you, you would drown and I would go down with you, and drown as well. Now where is the logic in that?â The turtle thought this over, and saw the logic of the scorpionâs statement. âYouâre right!â cried the turtle. âHop on!â The scorpion climbed aboard and halfway across the river the scorpion gave the turtle a mighty sting. As they both sank to the bottom, the turtle resignedly said: âDo you mind if I ask you something? You said thereâd be no logic in your stinging me. Why did you do it?â âIt has nothing to do with logic,â the drowning scorpion sadly replied. âItâs just my character.âÏAnd the moral of the story is: DNFTT

I told you before, Ed, executive orders cannot make new law. He cannot âforget about Congressâ; his orders cannot go against any law Congress has written, nor can they write ânewâ law in an area that Congress hasnât addressed. Congress also had the option of passing law that overrules the order, and Obama would be constitutionally bound to follow. If the Republicans see him breaking any of these rules, they will have the matter in front of the Supreme Court in a heartbeat.
I also pointed out that executive orders have been around since 1789, and RedRep pointed out that Bush made a record number during his presidency. This is NOT some crazy new thing that Obama is doing, but thatâs exactly what the right-wing media wants you to think. Donât let them fool you.
