Who needs to excercise to feel the burn? Having peripheral neuropathy, my feet are constantly on fire and it feels like I’ve been walking on hot coals.
This plugger must be my neighbor because he does have a pedometer. And a calculator that converts his steps to distance traveled [he says miles but I do not think he has time in the day for a mile] that he proudly announces when I see him out walking his walker.
He doesn’t need a pedometer – it wouldn’t be accurate with a walker. Now on odometer on the wheel makes sense.
pcolli: You have a way of spoiling an entertaining morning. My sympathy is with you, I only had a Chevy Caprice climb into my lap (going 50+ through a red light in downtown Dallas), I know it could have been worse – and wasn’t.
What I am getting out of this strip is that Pluggers still get out and walk, they don’t need to take a car to go two blocks. And yes Son, I know you are reading this, lol
I’m right there with you pcolli. It’s horrible to live with. Also, if you, thankufully I’m not anymore, on any NSAIDS, you feel the burn every waking moment in your stomach/esophagus.
Just hope that you don’t have an over active large breed dog when you get a walker. Have you ever seen one trying to get the ball off the walker legs? You could break another hip.
