Feelings, emotions, & life situations are more likely to get me to relate to a character than one who looks like or acts like me.I was more interested in the words and failed to see the characters change until the 2nd time through.
Nothing to get concerned about, it’s winter. When the summer comes and he’s able to get more sun he will get darker again. Happens to all of us.
