Where I live in Colorado we have centipedes. For some strange reason Iâm deathly afraid of them. One night our cat the âgreat hunterâ was digging at some bags on the floor. Thought he had a spider. Move the bags, saw the Centipede; screamed, grabbed the cat, ran into the other room. As my husband was doing battle with the quick moving bug, I held the cat like I was hiding behind him. The whole time hollering: KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! When all was said and done my husband occupied himself laughing at me the rest of the night.
newworldmozart Do you know that the centipedes have very poisonous venom that can bite and kill the preys? YES, they do! I watched the Animal Planet on the TV and I dropped my jaw shockingly. Oh my goshhh! Centipede vs Tarantula; they challenged to fight till the centipede immediately bites at tarantula and waits for the tarantula to die and then, the centipede sucks or eats tarantula. I couldnât believe what I saw it on the TV.
My two oldest brothers talked about the centipedes when they lived in AZ. They said that they saw how big the centipede was. That big!
I once saw the small centipede. I jumped on the counter and looked at it while it crawled on the floor. I shoot the bug spray at it but it wonât work to kill the centipede. I hit with object to kill it completely. Hard body the centipede has. sighhhhhhh! Now I know what the centipede is! Gross monster!
Newworldmozart, I remember once when I still lived at home, I was fixing to go to bed one summer night and there at the head of the bed was this huge centipede. Gak! All those legs! It was so huge. I grabbed something to kill it with but I missed and that dang thing ran away on all 100 of those legs. I didnât know where it went but I decided that bed wasnât big enough for both me and it so I went to sleep on the sofa.

Afraid of a cockroach, sheâll scream at a mouse but sheâll tackle a husband as big as a house.
