I recall seeing the five-second rule being debunked (complete with lab testing) on TV. (I sorta kinda recall the discussion on Uclick too.)
Anyway, the way I figure it baby doughnuts (like baby humans) have to get on the floor sometime, so they must have an immune system to cope with it. Hence, the five-second rule works well enough for baby doughnuts. Hm…
Oh. I get it. They have various kinds of Cheerios floating in their bloodstream to deal with infection. The Cheerios also help reduce cholesterol.
well, a couple days ago , tim rickard said ” that’s it, I’m hiring all you guys as writers!”
whoever did the 5 second rule comment is entitled to 20percent of what tim makes for this strip appearing in gocomics……
lessee now, 20 percent of zero equals…..uh…….
We get dirt, animal parts, bugs, feces, hair, and all kinds of other things in our food. We don’t worry about those so why worry about a drop on the floor?

Unfortunately, the baby’s growth will be stunted unless you have a yeast infection.

Good thing she got him in five seconds. Otherwise, he’d be toast (which always lands jelly-side down, incidentally).

A bath in a strong disinfectant (like coffee) will ward off any infections.

Johanan Rakkav: Maybe the baby doughnuts have an indoor play area, lined with wax paper.

It’s gross, but a little dirt from the floor is much less of a problem then the viruses we get from our hands.

God made dirt. Dirt won’t hurt.

SherlockWatson: I like that idea. You think dr. mel will like it too? :))
Speaking from my own bias: between the two of us especially - but also the rest of us - I hope we’ve given him some great lines today.
