‘Morning, VistaBill! Another old comic, but one that beats ‘Dick Tracy’ hands down!

G’morning, margueritem. I’m ready to call it a day. “They” are predicting as much as two feet of snow here in Southern Maryland. Zounds!

I think Daddy would welcome Annie with open arms any time.

My … My, are we having a truckulent reaction to a few short greetings between friends ?

For me, I’d rather see some warm, brief goodwill (like that), than long rambling paragraphs on personal recreational “off topic” subjects shaded in criptic language. Just my preference !

Speaking of habits it’s good to see that in the Annie “world”, heros can still smoke a Cigar without being accused of “messing up” the enviroment. Over in “clean-as-a-whistle” Dick Tracy, “2 at a time” cigarette smoker, Sam Catchem has apparently recieved “back seat” punishment for his one time trangressions

But it’s noteworthy that Warbucks’ newspapers are equally envious of his “financial success”, a rubicon to gleefully raise the hackles of envy, producing disparaging comment on his ethics, motives and actions at every turn.

But I guess, that’s part of envy in the unjust world we live in.
