Take his licorice away, Ruthie.
Her questions are annoying. It’s amazing how these people always seem to call you when you’re preparing or eating dinner.
The first two questions are worthless. Just cut to the third question and you won’t bug people too much.
BC13:
ask them for their home phone number and tell them you will call right back!!!

I signed up for the do not call list after one particularly obnoxious–and anonymous–callsite kept calling us about applying for government grants.
Daily.
For four months.
On each incoming line.
You’d think that after the first month or two they might realize we weren’t interested…but we couldn’t even get anyone to tell them to quit calling.
Thank you, donotcall.gov.
I agree, https://www.donotcall.gov/ is wonderful
Unfortunately, there are organizations that are exempt from having to honor it.
I suppose we should be grateful for any reduction in the number of calls we get though.
I’m on the same page with you, Bmonk.
