I don’t think colors have feelings, but feelings do have color.

If Ruthie had her way, I think her survey results would show that all colors were equally liked.

Which brings up the question, why take the time & effort to do the survey?

I know a lot of people whose favourite colour is purple. Mine is blue but a dark sky blue, not royal blue or navy blue. So you can’t just ask what’s your favourite colour, but what shade of that colour. Fun eh?

True, Macushlalondra, but ask a boy what shade of blue, and he’s apt to shrug and say, “Blue blue.” LOL!

(And don’t ever ask a guy what he thinks of that fuchsia. He likely won’t even know which color you are looking at, much less have an opinion…)

You must be thinking of Dr. Max Luscher’s color test. It is discussed in Wikipedia, and the book may still be in print.

Why not, Susan001–it worked for Picasso, at least for a while!

bmonk - So true! My hubby & sons claim there are only 8 colors - all the rest are just shades of it. So in their mind, there is no such thing as lavender - just purple. I like hunter green, but dislike mint or avocado.

No guy would know what fushia was and if you showed it to him he’d say gak!

Until I got married for the second time did I learn there were 47 shades of pink. How do I know now? Because my wife bought every shade of pink lipsticks. Now don’t get me started on finger nail polish.
