Grue and Bleen are color terms in philosophy (logic), coined by Charles Dodgson and used more recently by philosopher Nelson Goodman. For example, “grue” might be defined as “green up until December 31, 2009, and blue from January 1, 2010 and thereafter.” Then, one might say, in 2009, “That grass is grue,” and be perfectly correct–but it becomes a fallacy this year.
