Anytime I run across I.Q., I remember a girl in high school (she was either a freshman or sophomore at the time) loudly and proudly proclaimed, “I am too smart! I have an I.Q. of 3.0!”
I remember when I was in grade school and the school nurse would periodically give all the students an eye exam using that type of chart but I never knew it was called an"illiterate E chart." Now I feel insulted also!

Let’s leave your political views out of it, please. They’re hardly relevant, and nobody really cares, anyway.

Is someone cranky? This is not appropriate for this cartoon. If you are going to do this, then do it with the editorial cartoons.

The illiterate “E” chart isn’t for the person taking the test it is for the test giver.

This comic would be very controversial if it were to be released today.
