Laura: I have to say, Adam, you did a great job with the block party. Adam: Ahh, thanks. Yep, it sure was fun. So fun we should do it again. Laura: Oh, Adam. What did you do? Adam: I couldn't help it...the heat of the moment, combined with the heat from the grill. Laura: Superbowl? Adam: Well, yes. New Year's and then Superbowl...but Halloween and Thanksgiving before those.

Iāve grilled turkeys lots of times - you just use indirect heat on the sides and cook it low and slow. Delicious smoky flavor!

I understand the overall joke but seems to me like thereās a whole panel or two missing.

vawser: Yes, barbecued turkey (and smoke chips added). Life doesnāt get much better than that - well, maybe add a cold beer while youāre cooking. For BBQ, Iāve found that smaller turkeys are better, cook more evenly. If you have more people, two small ones are preferable to one large one and can be cooked at the same time if your grill is large enough (mine is). Try it sometime, Susan.

A place where barbecuing is illegal? OMG, H*ell on earth! Well, I barbecued a New York strip in your honor last night, Susan, and it was great. Youāre welcome, no need to get all gushy.
(No, I understand - out here on the Left Coast, we have āSpare the Air Daysā laws in some areas - things arenāt as congested as in NYC, of course.)
