This would have been the perfect opportunity for Grandma to tell young Nelson what is made out of cow hide. If she doesn’t know, then the two of them could have explored online or gone to the library. Kids learn best when they are curious.

No cow wool? Have you checked out the West Highland breed? To say nothing of same genus, different species like the yak.
