hamhock: When I was a kid, there was on tv season. hamhock: It started in the fall, broke for winter and ended in the spring. summer was for reruns. now they've got the summer season, midseason replacements, short seasons, double seasons-the seasons are all messed up!! tyr: It's like the global warming of the tv world. hamhock: Yeah, except this matters!!!

I just remember programs like Perry Mason having 28 to 30 episodes a year. Followed by the summer reruns.
