Baldo by Hector D. Cantú and Carlos Castellanos for March 30, 2009
March 29, 2009
March 31, 2009
Transcript:
Baldo: Well, I better get going. I got a lecture to go to. Cruz: A lecture at 9 o'clock at night? Baldo: Oh yeah... Baldo: Sometimes my dad starts them even later than that!
Don’t worry on that score serenasakitty, Sergio will be all-too-willing to wait an extra five minutes for Baldo before starting lecture–of course, he’ll also add another 10 onto it all about being late!
And the beatings. Don’t forget the beatings… You think you had it bad? When I went to school I had to get up half an hour before I went to bed, scrub the pond I lived in and I had to walk uphill in the snow – both ways!

Baldo’s time of arrival will determine the start of the lecture. The later the time, the longer the lecture.
prasrinivara over 15 years ago
But arriving sooner won’t shorten the lecture (no contradiction between later=longer and this–that’s how lectures from parents actually work).

Better be there on time for Papi’s lecture; otherwise, Papi will be in a fit. Ouchy!
prasrinivara over 15 years ago
Well, Wildmustang1262–won’t Sergio be in a fit anyway?
