Transcript:
Baldo: Cruz, it's not a "chicken run"... we're not going out for chicken. Baldo: It's a "running of the chickens"! They'll be chasing us down the street! I mean c'mon! It doesn't get any crazier than that! Cruz: The little helmets with horns are a nice touch. Tia Carmen: Why thank you, Cruz.

Not to mention those pointy little chicken beaks!

That chicken doesn’t look too dangerous. Now, if you had the running of the geese that would be a different story!

Bring out a rooster though, and it’s a whole other ball game.
We had a chicken farm behind our high school, and kickball often turned into “Run for your life!” because there was this one rooster who could fly over the fence. He chased one kid for a good 15 minutes before he gave up.
Roosters can be pretty danged vicious when they want to be.

ejcapulet, we often have “goose run’s” [snicker] (or is it ‘geese run’) out here in Colorado. They chase people, bikes even runners once in a while. They’ll stand right in front of traffic, too!

I can relate to what both ejcapulet adn LibrarianinTraining have brought up: A number of years ago, I came home one afternoon to find my prize thoroughbred cornered in his paddock by a lone Canadian Honker (hope that’s not being too politically inocrrect). His fearless horse stood there quaking as the goose strutted back and forth hissing occaisonally. I had to get a .40 caliber lawn rake to chase it away. Also when I was about 4 yrs old, living on the farm, the roosters used to terrorize me every time i came near the chicken coops. They would chase after me, pecking at my heels. So I think if someone is willing to run from them, the chickens WILL chase them. LOL

[sigh] Why does Baldo ever bother? Like they say, you’ll laugh back at this some day. I hope so in Baldo’s case.

Boy, Baldo looks soooo grumpy and complains about the Hispanice Heritage Month. Baldo, get used to it!
