While no one does it like Lynyrd Skynyrd, one of my favorite (and also very appropriate) versions of this song was when Conan O’Brien ended his last show on NBC playing this song with Will Ferrell, Beck, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Ben Harper, Max Weinberg, and the tonight show band.
