Quite to the contrary. Screw the video age. I can mind-see much more interesting scenarios in my mind when I read a book than any tv or movie could produce.
Me too, Nero. TV and movies adapted from books are never as vivid or engaging. Even Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings.
