There is a trend where people that have college degrees are now taking positions that would normally have been taken by people without degrees. What this has done is devalued a college education to the point where it is worth about what a high school diploma was worth 20 years ago. People without a college education are looked at about how someone who had dropped out of high school would have been looked at 20 years ago. It is now a necessity in this life to have some form of higher education.
