Here’s my problem… I don’t want to vote against the one I don’t want or to vote for the “lesser of two evils”… I want to vote for a LEADER. So far, I’ve only seen one of those that I felt would be a good leader in my entire history of being able to vote. It’s sad, really… why can’t good leaders run for office? :-s
I have a brother who has never voted, a sister who doesn’t vote, and a refrigerator repairman who came today and he doesn’t vote. They all say it’s up to the electoral college, to which I replied that we vote those people in too. The college to my knowledge has only picked the Prez twice in history. Not voting because of that or because all politicians are the same is ignorance. I am handicapped, and hobbled out to vote. I myself feel it is useless, the President does NOT run the country. The banks, corporations and military do.
Voting is only half the job. Staying informed is the harder part. Remember what your candidate said he would do if he is elected, then make sure he is reminded constantly.

Good leaders require money to run. Money sources are afraid he/she might be too honest and hard to control if elected.
