Whoweeeeeee! Boy that brings back memories of exploded tin cans, boxes, toys! The night I tried to light a big firecracker with a sparkler was the end of my explosive fun. Whoa…it blew up in my hand and I felt the pain for days. Life can be so unfair to a 7 year.
We used to take “gliders” that had a rubber band driven propeller, tape on a good sized fire cracker, wind it up tight, light it quickly and hopefully watch it blow up in flight. Thankfully nobody ever got hurt but we did have some dramatic moments with co-ordinating lighting the firecracker and launching the plane…

Knew some boys that put a cherry bomb in a 55 gallon barrel. It somehow got knocked over and at least one got burned a lot.
