Arlo: Hitting the sales today?
Janis: Yes, but I don't enjoy it as much as I once did!
Janis: Shopping has gotten so commercial!
Arlo: Disturbingly, that makes perfect sense!
That’s one reason I went last night and I’m not going out today. I did the 5AM thing once and it was NOT a happy day. Half of me wishes I didn’t go yesterday, but I did.
They privatized the liquor stores in Ohio several years ago. Unless you go to a Kroger, etc., the “private” liquor stores don’t accept certain bills, and they’ve installed those damnable “off network” ATMs so they hit you twice to relieve you of your cash!
The product’s made (in China), and the price is good enough (although many times higher than at other times) to entice the unwashed masses to buy in a frenzy.
