Not a nice thing to say to the man you claim to love.
I say it to my husband all the time. In my book, it shows lack of care for the woman you love to wear stabby bristles on your face that are unpleasant to kiss. I suppose I could ignore it, but I can’t help flinching, so it becomes obvious anyway.
