no, Heisenberg created the improbability drive, I’m certain.

As improbable as it certainly is… it’s definitely Walter White (Bryan Cranston) from AMC’s award-winning series “Breaking Bad”

While your research into Hitchhikers guide was accurate, and well stated, I must take issue with your accreditation of Mr. Whites “nom-de-cook”. (Season 1, Episode 6) Walter White’s alias, Heisenberg, is a tribute to Werner Heisenberg, who formulated the uncertainty principle, which states that it is impossible to determine simultaneously both the position and velocity of an electron or any other particle with any great degree of accuracy or certainty.

It’s a pleasure to be among such erudite folks. Truly.

The triple-neck reaction vessel is another reference to “cooking” meth

Heisenberg merely established the field of quantum mechanics and the theory of the uncertainty principle. He didn’t invent anything (that I’m aware of). He died in 1976.

Ahhh….. hello look up AMC breaking Bad. Heisenberg is the main character.
