What a crappy thing to do…But, you know, turds in winter are solid, so it’s pretty easy to scoop ’em up with your shovel and fling those puppies over the fence….

This is what happens when you don’t return what you borrowed.

My dog is not prejudiced. She has no preferred spot. She rotatesher “gifts” among several yards. She seems to have a rotation so that she doesn’t wearout her "welcome"in any on place.

My parents had two dachshunds for a while, a long-haired one and a smooth-haired one. In the winter, the long-haired one (who loves snow) would create a trench when sniffing for a good spot, and the smooth-haired one would follow the trench that the long-haired one created and go in the same place.

Ironic, if it’s a Siberian Pea Tree. Doubly ironic, if the homeowner’s name were Petrie…

The Path is what Taoists (aspire to) follow. For Buddhists, it’s the Eightfold Path, which requires much more creative shoveling.

I misread the real estate listing on my little home. It really said “2 bdrms and a PATH.” It’s cold out there….

That’s what I have to do if I don’t want my dog doing her business on the porch. Now mind you she loves to run and roll in the snow, but crouch in it, no way!

I hate neighbors like that. Fortunately, all of the dog owners in my neighborhood are responsible to pick up after their dogs…for the most part.

We lived in a trailer while my husband, with occasional grunt work from me, built our house. One door has an airlock, one has a vestibule. The one that doesn’t open in winter has neither, but then, it doesn’t open in winter.

Most homes have exterior doors opening to the inside so a “storm door” can be installed on the outside opening outward. For security (other than a hurricane) the inward opening door is much easier to block.

I used to believe the same thing but discovered something more important (for our house, anyway): make-up air. Google it. You’ll be surprised.

Since starting my comic strip binge of Non Sequitur a couple of weeks ago, I’ve noticed that many of the strips get reused in later years, and yet most are timeless and are still quite funny. This one makes me laugh cause it just shows the sinful nature of man, even in petty vindictive ways. But, it still makes me laugh.
