From her to him- from him to her- for little Mia- for David and Jamie- for Sam- to uncle Albert- to aunt Flo- for Amanda- to the Tucker Twins- Ahem- have you forgotten someone?!
An update for all those kind people who commented after I lost Pickle Dog. As suggested, I went to the animal rescue centre and I now have a one year old cat called Sooty. She is more fun than I ever knew a cat could be. And really cute.
My cats hav almost all been rescues. My husband got one out of a storm drain. We called him Gutter Cat. I have never gotten one from the shelter but every one as been a rescue.(stray)
Sooty is just over a year old and had apparently been abandoned because she was pregnant. She was brought to the rescue centre where she had the kittens. The kits were all given new homes and Sooty was spayed. But no-one seemed to want her. Their loss, because is a very friendly and affectionate cat. So she’s out of the kitten stage but young enough to have a long life ahead of her.
Volunteering at the Humane society sounds like a great idea. We are moving to Idaho next year so I will think about it there. I really miss having a cat.
