Re Gift Cards:Stores/businesses count on Gift Cards as a factor in profit margin. We buy them for 50 bucks, the recipient only uses 36 bucks worth of them, forgets the rest and instant profit for the business.My gift cards come in green paper form with the number 50 or 20 in each of the four corners. They HAVE to be ‘consumed’… (It’s the law!)

If he had said ‘We shoud…’ rather than ‘They should…’ his statement would have been not only correct but relevant.
