It’s hard to believe that white (light) contains all the colors of the spectrum.

No offence, but this is a booooooooooooooring arch :)

Well, it is not totally whitened out. The text is still black. But perhaps tomorrow that problem is solved too….

Maybe it’s not white at all. Could Verne and RJ be in front of the strip looking in and not realize where they are, and all we can see is the dialogue?

Unless the light is reflected, filtered, or comes from an excited spectra source, light comes from black radiator sources and produces all colors in relation to the source temperature. Examining an area with an optical diffuser allows the determination of the ambient color. Leaving a blank strip in the open will weather the background color. Watch out for the yellow snow.

Oh Hammy is there, if you squint, in the background, with Larry M Mouse playing 4 handed Bridge. The albino squid is probably blocking your view of them.

in pigment theory, white is the absence of all color; so Verne is right. In light theory, RJ is right.
