Arthritis, or a bad hip, or bad shoulders, a bad back, or old age or …….. Wheeled luggage is the only way to fly. Actually, wheels that rotate are an even better innovation.
Someone shared the Sunday link with me on a different strip so here’s the link for this one… http://www.seattlepi.com/comics-and-games/fun/Pluggers/
Sunday Pluggers which came out in our local newspaper had the bunny lady, sitting on the couch, reading. Pillows at her back, covered in a blanket, snow piling up on the window outside, She has two cats snuggled on her lap, purring. Caption reads A Plugger’s dual heat pump system is most efficient in the winter. Both the Denver Post and the New Jersey dot com newspapers have Pluggers in their Comics Kingdom sections. You can Google Pluggers Comic strip Denver Post and come up with it. I used to try posting a link but I soon discovered that, for some odd reason, someone at Go Comics does not like links all that much in the comments section, and go around removing all posts which include links. There is also a good chance that your own local newspaper would have a Comics Kingdom section – so you could also check out your own local newspaper to see if they include Pluggers in the Comics Kingdom section.
which is weird. my mom gave me one with wheels when I turned 18 nearly 34 years ago.thing is, real plugger’s luggages is those hard case ones like from the 50s and older. not these soft sided ones.
IN SEARCHING FOR TODAY’S PLUGGERS, I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT OTHER COMIC SITES LIST THE SUNDAY PLUGGERS BANNER, FIRST PANEL, AS FEATURING THE CHARACTER FOR THAT STRIP. WHY DON’T THEY DO THAT AT GOCOMICS????

also, if a plugger’s suitcase has wheels. it has FOUR not a mere two wheels. and it needs a dogleash to help move it.
