Mayflies tend to take things one day at a time.

They don’t live long enough to get out of shape.

Mayflies are wispy little creatures with thin curved bodies that cover the areas around ponds in late spring. The wind blows them around and they get onto everything. Maylies pupate under water as nymphs, cicades underground, yes – as naiads.

If mayflies lived longer they’d be ‘june’ bugs.

Mayflies live their lives like there’s no tomorrow…

I wonder what mayflies think of soup ’djour?

if they worked out they might become June bugs?

those two are wasting their lives talking about exercising! :-D.

Mayflies aka Love Bugs.

I know it’s for the joke but people don’t exercise for 24 hours there either.

The last time I saw a May fly was last August. I apologised to it, then I squashed it between the curtain and the window. My friend was Buddhist, so I explained that I was sending my grandmother to a better life. I don’t think he cared.

Not everyone practises you kind of religion, either.

I don’t think Buddists practice that type – maybe some Hindus….
