    Yet cats aren’t mentioned on the menu at Gill’s Mystery Meat Pastie Palace and Fish&Chips Bar where raft spiders dive for the fish of your choice in their live tank.

    So whats strange about Cats in Peru?(With Apologies to Wierd AlThere’s a cat in the kettle at the Peking Moon,The place that I eat every day at noon.They can feed you cat and you’ll never know,Once they wrap it up in dough, boy.They fry it real crisp in dough.

    A Chinese soup for colder weather, called Tiger and Dragon Soup, contains cat and snake meat. While HK was a British colony, the consumption of dogs and cats was against the law, due to the British influence, though the Chinese population had no prejudice against eating them. I always laugh at rumors that Chinese restaurants here in the US secretly serve cat or dog meat to their gwailo customers, because that is not something they would waste on westerners who didn’t appreciate them. They would save those for themselves!

    As far as the raft spider goes, I find the Diving Bell Spider rather more impressive. A spider of that species spends pretty much its entire life underwater, breathing from a bubble of air on its abdomen.
