    There was an interesting two part show on PBS called “Alone in the Wilderness.” I guess it was in the lte 60s this guy set up a movie camera and documented building a log cabin by himself with only hand tools. He lived there for about 30 years and donated the cabin and 9 foot off the ground food storage to make a park.

    Sadly, If Bob Vila stood there talking about how the paint on the board dried, there would be too many people who would sit there and watch thinking they were learning something…

    Home sick one day, I watched the NASA channel as astronauts mixed up test batches of shuttle tile adhesive Half an hour later I realized I was “watching paint dry” 300 miles above the Earth.

    It’s too bad that Honey Boo Boo’s family is exploiting her. She is probably a charming little girl, but the family is getting as much as they can moneywise, while she is still young. A shame that people will watch this show.
