Fungi are a good source of vital-mins.

Petey is a fungi (fun guy)

I’m not that picky, but I’d never eat blue cheese.

… and a bottle of wine.

Actually the mold in bleu cheese (and other ‘veined’ cheeses) causes stomach cancer.

Thanks, sottwell! You’ve managed to ruin my day! Why? I LOVE blue cheese!!

Heck! I love all things that are cheese, even comics.

I can’t believe Petey would eat either bleu cheese or mushrooms.

Unlimited wine, though, right? Or is that just how we know we’re in France?

He looks like he has been subsumed by a 108 year old French mushroom.

Eeeewww. I hate both of those.

Poor Petey! In panel 3 he looks so anxious that he’s not getting enough fungi in his diet! He may not make it to 108!

Casu Marzu is worse. It’s cheese with live maggots in it.

Bleu cheese, mushrooms and wine. Sounds like plan to me!

And Petey knows it’s “bleu” cheese! not “blue” cheese. Wow!

I really like Petey. He will always be a geek.

Poor Petey. He’ll never be the pickiest now.
