    *SWOOSH*

    Say, there’s no webbing in the glove. Actually, this was known as a split finger glove, and was very popular with infielders until the 1950’s.

    Pop-ups were a problem, but grounders were easier to handle because they wouldn’t get stuck in the webbing.

    Yesterday’s topic: My friend loves to stuff peeps into her mouth–as many as she can. Her record, so far, is 37 peeps.

    BTW, peeps have a shelf-life of two years.

    the player reminds me of an old friend who was a pitcher, in one game he took a line drive to the face which broke his glasses and put a gash under his left eye that took 4 stitches ro close, he was back on the mound 3 days later
