Rules of golf. Any ball which cannot be found shall be deemed to be stolen. Someone will eventually find the ball and claim it therefore rendering it stolen. A player shall not condone a felony by taking a penalty stroke for a lost ball. Player shall take a drop at the point in the fairway nearest to where the ball disappeared from.
a friend of mine called in sick on opening day many years ago , and got his picture on the front page of the SF Chronicle at giants stadium the next day

Yes I did. I remembered it almost as if it happened yesterday, except for the part about LT jumping back and getting the medics in. Pretty gruesome. Also as originally thought, it was on Monday Night Football when it was the game to watch.
