I wonder what Aliens would think if they came here. We all but ignore a limitless source of energy from the sky, but kill each other over energy from the ground.

Thats right, at prersent rates of consumption, there are enough reserves to last us another 300 years. By then we (Or our descendants) will have found viable alternatives. But… Since population is growing exponentially, so will the consumption rates…

Over the past century, the world burned through a trillion barrels of oil. Another 1.2 trillion barrels of known conventional oil reserves wait to tapped, according to BP, one of the world’s biggest oil companies. It sounds like a lot. But given the current rate of growth in demand, a trillion of those barrels will be used up in less than 30 years.

What then? Many analysts estimate another trillion barrels of yet-to-be-found oil remains, but in remote places like the Arctic Ocean where it will be expensive to extract, or in countries that might restrict access.

Now for real dose of reality- they just found enough oil in one deposit in South Australia to rival Saudi Arabia. The world is very under-explored (even stable countries like the US) less than 5% on land and a lot of that 5% is done poorly so they could have missed big lots of oil. Underwater is much much less explored about 0.1%.

No, that would still be the democrats, who are against Americans having money, Americans keeping what they work for, and American businesses making money. The democrats are the most racist. As one of Native American descent, I remember what you criminals did to us on the reservation. Perhaps we should do the same to you on wellfare.
