Teacher: For vocabulary, today, I'm going to give each of you a word to spell and give an example of. Wilberforce, your word is "error". Wilberforce: A-I-R-E-R. Teacher: Well, that is incorrect for the spelling, but I suppose you could say it's correct as an example.

Airer is a valid English word. The teacher should have given him the definition if she wanted him to spell ERROR.
