"We can't sit around and let everyone else pretend global warming isn't happening." "We need to start a movement that will urge people to take action." "Our movement must be symbolic, primal. The name must invoke both hope and fear, and it must inspire all mankind to fight for our planet." "So we will call it 'Earth, Wind, and Fire'!" "We will be shining stars."

For you to see.

After the polar vortex, you can’t just call it global warming (though the warmer climate is said to have created the polar vortex). It’s called global climate change now.
As for whether or not it is caused by man alone (anthropomorphic climate change), there is no scientific consensus.
But there sure is a scientific consensus that our current energy usage and the fracking used to pursue as much oil as possible are going to poison us out of existence a lot quicker than global climate change.

Makes as much sense as real global warming alarmists. And DOSQueen, I’d bet your consensus on fracking is no more valid than the consensus being forced down our throats on global warming. Oh, yes, they keep trying to sell “consensus” as the “science” behind global warming; but real science never lived or died on consensus — only on observable, replicable facts. And has been said in other places, you’re entitled to your own opinion; but you’re not entitled to your own facts.
