I have a cigar every once and awhile, mostlyin the summer months, because I smoke them outside. I have a small deck located up on a hill in our yard, that I call my cigar deck. I sit up there with a book, a cigar and a snifter of brandy and look out on our lake.
I smoked from part of 7th grade through most of HS (Lucky Strikes mostly to look “cool” ) and it did not fit my new college girl image, so I quit. My parents did until an uncle died of emphysema – Dad quit immediatly and Mom not until waay after her stroke.
I spent the day cleaning out the freezer and frig toward my change to the “Reversal” diet. I found too many unallowed protiens that I will consume before beginning the diet (and a few that I’ll just save for a company meal). I will have one meal of shrimp, one of mussels and the last of pepperoni pizza.
Hard work cleaning out everything and cooked most beans I soaked last night. Dishes ready for new diet – 3 done and others started. I am very stressed as I started with my weight routine this AM.
Yes, I have a cigar (or part of one) while I’m walking the dog, or out on the golf course. There’s also an eatery in town which has a large patio in back, and they allow smoking out there, so a buddy & I will have a cigar after lunch every once in a while.

Yep. Gotta die from something. “He died from drinking municipal water” just doesn’t have the right ring to it for me.

You can have the cookies and all the other sugary crap, but I’ll take the smokes.
