Transcript:
Bucky: Deadly pressure points aren't a joke. One touch as shown in this book and you'll be on the floor sobbing. Satchel: I'm not worried. I've seen those videos on the Google. Bucky: What videos? Satchel: Where a cat sits there and squeezes a dog. I figure I'll probably get a mean little massage. At worst I'll need a band-aid. Bucky: Defend yourself, Satchel. Satchel: So I like massages, so sue me!

In panels 1 and 3 Satchel looks tired and bored, not worried at all. He might need at transfusion not a band aid.

The Shiatsu defense… what court doesn’t recognize it?

Same as yesterday,“RKO” the sucker. Now calmly go back and get your jerky that you set aside, look down at Bucky and tell him that he was warned. Yea ! One last kick to the groin would be a nice finish.

Please point me to one of those videos, Satch. All I can find is the puppy pinwheel.

It’s funny that this story arc is happening now, when BBC America just this weekend showed a 1964 episode of “Doctor Who”, where one of the Doctor’s companions claimed to an Aztec warrior that he could defeat him with “one thumb.”

I just love that Satchel saw the videos “on the Google”. It’s like Satchel suddenly became an old man.

Once had a neighbor with a German shepherd; the next door neighbor had a (domesticated?) alley cat that (mis)behaved much like Bucky – strike & run guerilla tactics. One day the shepherd had had enough. When the feline struck to scratch as “quick as a cat,” the shepherd opened his jaws “quicker than a cat,” snatched up the now defenseless furbag, shook it violently for nearly 30 seconds, threw it 10-15 feet in the air, and let it drop. I thought it had died, but it groaned to a stupor and stumbled away about 20 minutes later. Cat never bothered shepherd ever again.

These are new ones (2013—unless Darby has caught on to us and is changing the date). Satchel has, in the past, given Bucky his come uppance. But, Bucky hasn’t seemed to learn that he can push Satchel only so far.

The other day I was nuzzling my cat when the thought occurred to me – from here she could suddenly scratch or bite and take out my carotid artery faster than I could dodge or parry..She didn’t, obviously… but she could have.

My cat never just claws, she bites!

Satchel is going to fall asleep mid attack while Bucky is attached. Satchel will roll over and crush Bucky.

Over the past few months/years, Satchel has become SO much more confident when he deals with Bucky’s nuttiness. The change is interesting, and encouraging in a way.
Go ahead, Satch—stick it where the sun don’t shine!
