To me, this means it’s post your yella cat day. So here’s FezziwigAnd PipAnd yes, we like Dickens as a source of cat names.

If I knew how to put a picture of my orange cat up, I would.

Reminds me also of the Far Side with the penguin saying, “I gotta be me!” Original was all black and white—but then a card company put out a version with the penguin dyed yellow, giving it a whole different meaning.

The drawing here, Cat Crowd, was done in 1976. Believe it or not, the coloration here is classic too.

I have set out food for a ginger feral. Now he expects fed, but I can’t catch him or I would get him neutered and take him inside. He has fathered a great many others. All the help that you can get is to rent a live catch trap. Gone are the days when you could call animal control and they would catch the critter.

He has also been followed by a mid-sized possum. It’s a cute possum, he will just womble away when he gets seen.

This is reminiscent of a Gary Larson “Far Side” cartoon that had one penguin in a huge crowd of identical penguins singing “I gotta be me! I gotta be me!” I think it was made into a poster. I wonder which came first?

As far as non-conformity goes..that cat should bein the Sgt Peppers Album cover next to Marlon Brando.
