Well, Cathy, at least they’re not thinking about all the work that needs to be done once they return to the workplace! That’s all too common today, unfortunately… Maybe you’re technologically deficient and messing around with electronics is just not your thing! LOL! Have a good Tuesday, all! ;)

I’m retired. We have 200 channels on a DVR but I don’t watch it. I am trying to learn how to play a piano. My keyboard keys light up so I can learn a song. My wife has an iPad that she Facebook all of her family through out the USA and Mexico. I have a mini iPad and Samsung that I just play games. Both has numerous appts but I don’t feel like playing with them. I used to take pictures and do videos, but I feel like being old. However, I still force myself to swim a half a mile a day and walk a hour a day with my wife because she makes me. She doesn’t want me to get old too fast. Why play with tablets and computers when your wife wants to go to the Grand Canyon, travel by train to Atlanta, Ga., and go on the beach on Maui. Luz wants to go to Rome and Italy. Yes, it beats electronics. Cathy, we have a great travel agent who takes care of the little details.

PS After building a career in assisting young disadvantaged youth go to college, Lorilee said I want to do what I want to do before it is too late. She says she wants to write. I bit my tongue because I was never going to be like my father. So far, she has been happy. If this is what she wants, let her fly.

I dream of a weekend at the family cabin, lounging on a hammock and walking in the woods.

I dream of the day when I can afford a vacation.

I dream of permanently moving to a house on a gorgeous, sandy beach surrounded by lush palm trees and beautiful blue water in Florida someday. Of course, that’s NEVER going to happen but still . . . a girl can dream, can’t she?!? ;-)
