Cathy: Remember this one? We vowed to put our pictures in it the second we got back from our cruise! Mom:...And this one! Remember? It was going to be our Christmas '92 album, except we never got '81 through '91 done......And this was going to be Electra's puppy album... Mom: We got this one for your graduation pictures!.. I know why this comic drives me crazy. It makes my OCD go straight through the roof.

Maybe Cathy just needs to do what I do: label what photos she’s keeping as best she can (with her mother’s help for the really, really old ones), put them in large, individually marked envelopes dated by year, put the envelopes in order in a copy-paper box, then vow to get all her photo albums properly done once she retires and has more time to do it than she’s got right now. Then she needs to vow from this moment forward that any pictures taken from now on that get their own separate albums will be immediately labeled, dated and put in them . . . and then keep that vow. That’s the only way to make sure that this 10-year-old (at least) problem doesn’t getting any worse than it already is. You have to fight each and every “battle” if you want to EVENTUALLY win the “war”!!!!! ;-)
