Yeah, only after this Andrea (actually, Cathy G.) tries to rewrite history by talking about how “young” she was when she had her kids. Andrea was “over 30, successful and ready to share [her] life with someone” when she met Luke. I hate that, but I get it. Cathy is supposed to be about 50 by now, but then she wouldn’t be able to get pregnant at the end of the strip…

If Andrea was a woman who could “do it all,” seems like part of that would (or at least should) include her house being neat and clean . . . instead of looking as though someone had broken in and ransacked the place looking for valuables to steal! The living room is just as much a mess — if not more so — than the kitchen is. :-P While I’m not exactly June Cleaver (and, really, who has the time and/or energy to be her these days?), I still keep my house fairly neat and organized because it would severely depress me to look around and see nothing but clutter like this everywhere. Ijust wouldn’t be able to stand it. I highly suspect this attitude comes from growing up in a house with two pack-rat parents and hating it so much that I made up my mind to never be like them when it comes to this kind of thing. “A place for everything and everything in its place” as the old saying goes. That’s the only way you can ever find anything. Otherwise, you’re just going to unnecessarily spend money buying duplicates of things you know you already own but simply can’t find due to an unorgan-ized house. And who wants (or has the money) to do that? Not me, that’s for sure!
