Mom: Then I think it's wonderful that you're so dewted you're in complete denial about what you're doing! Cathy: I'm not in denial! I love golf! There! I said it!! Irving: You do?? Really?! I'm the happiest man on earth!! Dad: Nice to see you've learned to let go, dear. Mom: I've let go of "her". I've just started on "them".

Good for Cathy! The more interests/hobbies a couple share together, the better their chances of a longer, happier marriage than if they had little, or no, interests in common at all. And since Irving loves to play golf so much, I think it’s really great that she not only joins him when she can, but when she does, she isn’t just “faking it” for his sake — she actually enjoys playing it too.
Hi, rgcviper! I couldn’t make out the name on Irving’s magazine yesterday either. Even after enlarging the picture all the way upto 500% (the highest my laptop would go), the best I could make out was maybe the word “Journal” — which would make sense because a lot of magazines have that word on their covers. That’s just my best guess anyhow.
