If they stay in that house and raise a family there, it was worth it.

Is she allowed to change her answer? I’d say that’s against the rules …

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why Cathy and Irving can’t tell her parents that, yes, they got the house they wanted without also having to tell them how much they paid for it at the exact same time. My husband and I have been living in the same house for almost 27 years now and to this day, we’ve never told anyone (not even our own parents) how much we paid for it. For Anne to actually expect Cathy to tell her such personal information — and for Cathy to feel as though she has to instead of just saying: “I’m sorry, Mom, but that’s a subject we really prefer not to discuss with you” — is completely unbelievable to me. Whack-a-doodles. Every single one of them! :-P

Oh, fer cryin’ out loud … can’t they all just be happy for the big milestone? Of course, then we wouldn’t have our daily [eye-roll], now, would we?

HI, MOM. I’m with you 100% on your “whack-a-doodles” remark. Ha.

    Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan.
