Brilliant. I especially like the Political Juice scale.

She’s never actually gone above the bottom of the “bell curve” on intellect, or viability.

I, for one, am sad to see her go. I mean you can’t make the dumb sh!t she said up.

A typical republican. No honor, no values, no ideas, no dignity. Good riddance.

I know her parents and they’re great people. I also voted for her for governor of Alaska because of my regard for her parents but would never vote for her in a race for a national office because she’s a neo-con. I do think she did an excellent job for the State of Alaska until a weird Alaska law allowed her to be sued over and over by the same person for trivial garbage. Neither the state nor Palin could afford to defend the lawsuits before the law could be changed so she resigned. Even though she’s religious right, she signed a law giving State of Alaska gay employees partners rights to the partner’s medical care and pensions. Most religious right folks would have vetoed that out of hand. Not Palin, she did what the voters of Alaska wanted rather than follow her beliefs. She isn’t as bad as the MSM portrays her.

Ima is a perfect example of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote-“Foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by statesmen and philosophers and divines.”

And the corona of her brief elected career and candidacy still outshines the democrat scum that tanked her and their associates they worked for…

Mrs. Palin was a temporary distraction. One might say that she ‘rode that pony for all it was worth.’ McCain had so little chance of beating the anointed one in 2008 that her selection for the GOP ticket seemed the epitome of desperation an’ long-shot gambling. It made her a “star” – but an intensely polarizing one (like just about everything in US politics has become). The left relentlessly lambasted her for not having the political nor intellectual skills to effectively debate a fifth-grader. She was part lightning an’ part laughing-stock, and I would submit that her substantive contributions to the Tea Party and to the Republican Party are dubious, at best. And now, she has milked her “15 minutes of fame” for all it’s worth, and the meter has run down…so she leaves the stage a wealthier albeit not necessarily wiser person.
