I saw an article in one of my computer magazines that suggested abbreviating a phrase that you would be familiar with. Example: âMy wife Marys birthday is January 18 and she likes Snickersâ would be âMwMbiJ18aslSâ. (I know â bad example â make up your own) But something like that uses a mix of upper and lower case letters and numbers, and exceeds the common minimum of 8 characters. Think about it.
I saw a cartoon not too long ago where an elderly lady was telling her friend/neighbor that since the computer always said: âENTER YOUR PASSWORDâ she could never forget it: YOUR PASSWORD
So the combination is [password/PIN]⊠one, two, three, four, five? Thatâs the stupidest combination Iâve ever heard in my life! Thatâs the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage! â paraphrased from Dark Helmet, Spaceballs
Actually, I had a locked file that I came across after years. Took me weeks of trying every password Iâve ever used before I just hit the enter key without a password. It worked. Sheeze!
